‘Second Coming’, Chapter 13: Awesome penultimate chapter or massive letdown?

A lot happens — but for some reason, I didn’t feel the emotions that should have been running through this.
Is that just me or did others feel the same way?
art was great once again, a lot of action. but yeah..the book felt like it wasn’t able to show emotions or it lacked emotion..the “this is for kurt” part felt flat to me.
Yeah; Logan’s line and attack looked like they ran out of page space to fit it in properly. And we’ve seen Cable coming for a long time. It just somehow . . . lacked something when it actually happened.

Let’s not forget that the enemy was defeated and the Messiah manifested their race saving powers in the second to last issue. What is actually left to go over for the finale that couldn’t be summed up in 3 pages?
I was pretty meh on the whole thing. Too much too quickly and not a lot to care about with any of it.
Yeah it just seemed like they gave us like 4 or 5 chapters of buildup then just blew load after load on each page of this issue so fast and back to back that your emotions couldnt keep up while reading it. In my opinion they could have put half of these events spread out over the last three chapters and instead of a bunch of meh issues followed by an overload of really important stuff.
i really have no prob with this. Sure Cables death was foreseen although if i had not seen the teasers it could have helped. plus all out action against Bastion with Hope actully doing something made me happy
