Wolverine News & Previews: Siege & X-Force Annual #1
It’s been rather quiet on the website recently, so please do leave a note in the comments if you find these ‘Wolverine News & Previews’ helpful.
As for the Wolverine news, Marvel revealed several teaser images for the upcoming ‘Siege’ miniseries, the alleged finale of Norman Osborn’s Dark Reign.
But the one of most interest to us is the unmasking of Daken in a struggle with Wolverine, courtesy of Billy Tan…
In other Wolverine-related news, Marvel has released a sneak peek of the ‘X-Force’ Annual #1, due in stores on December 2…
As for probable (and possible) Wolverine appearances this week (11/11/09), we have previews of…
–Uncanny X-Men: First Class #5 (preview): Things aboard Starcore One come to a head…
–X-Babies #2 (preview): X-Babies fight Planet Terry. Ugh!
–X-Force #21 (preview): Necrosha continues!
–X-Men Forever #11 (preview): Wolverine may be dead, but his spirit continues…
I’ll grant your request and i’ll post a comment..haha.
Is it a sure thing that after homecoming the x-force will end?
And i’m a bit confused..isn’t ain’t no dog considered as annual #1 for x-force?
Good to hear from you Marco.
I believe ‘X-Force’ will continue with a new writer.
And with Marvel, ‘considered’ and ‘actually’ are two entirely different things when it comes to numbering.
I know I should be posting this with the review of last week’s books but there were two more that got missed and with good reason.
Deadpool Team-up # 899 has a useless appearance on the cover and an even worse one inside.
And if that’s not bad enough, Strange Tales #3. His appearance is so worthless that it makes the Deadpool Team-up one look significant.
Good to hear from you Comusiv!
I did notice, but ignored, the Strange Tales #3 appearance since it was a comedic appearance only.
I will need to check out Deadpool Team-Up #899 to see if it’s a real appearance or a non-appearance, as I like to call them.
I have finally gotten to the point where I am only going to discuss actual appearances. In fact, in the last two weeks, I’ve boxed up all of those non-appearance and non-616 appearances to streamline my collection.
I do find these updates, news and previews helpful and interesting, even though I’m not a current purchaser. These help me make decisions later on when the TPB inevitably appears. I appreciate the reviews here by DiG, et al. It’s a remarkable effort to keep up with all these issues.
BTW, that Siege cover looks great! Wolverine spank that nasty Daken!
Awesome!
Thanks much Pamela. I can always rely upon you to brighten my day.
I know I only write in here every once in a blue moon, but like I’ve said before: wolverinefiles.com is a daily stop for me, as soon as I turn on my computer every day. Thanks for the reviews of the comics and the previews of what we have to look forward to. It really helps the picking and choosing process go a whole lot faster!
:D
Thanks so much for the kind words, and I am thrilled you find these posts helpful.
Life gets hectic, so it’s always good to know that time spent is time well spent.
Awwwwwww shucks, DiG. T’warnt nothin’. Just callin’ it like I see it. I enjoy checking both this site and the Forum for news and Wolverine items of interest. This is my “one-stop shop!” Keep it going, please!

Still lurking here and there.
Just wanted to show my support for the site and what DiG does.
