From Marvel: “‘eXogenetic’ conclusion! After wading through a swarm of bio-mechanically engineered monstrosities modeled after some of their fiercest foes, the X-Men finally come face to face with the man responsible. He’s given his life to designing the death of the mutant race and with the X-Men at his doorstep, he’s preparing to unleash one more genetic nightmare upon the world before his time runs out.”
On sale August 25, 2010.
After another extended delay, Warren Ellis and Phil Jimenez finally wrap up the latest storyline. Is this a case of too little, too late?
And if you haven’t picked up the issue, make sure to read the preview, linked below the series title above.
I think I would have really enjoyed this run if it hadn’t taken nearly a year for five issues. And Wolverine clocking the old man in the wheelchair was just classic (and totally justified IMHO).
I must admit this felt like a bit of a let down as far as story endings go. Perhaps I should have read this before reading Wolverine Weapon X 16 which was superb.
