I think the most frustrating part of this series is that it is supposed to be clever and filled with twists. The characters acted shocked at every turn, and all I can do is shake my head at how ludicrous it all is. I mean, Romulus has been a master manipulator for a century and he falls for some of the oldest, most cliched tricks in the book. Who would trust Daken with anything? SERIOUSLY. My thoughts exaaaaaactly. And I dont know about you, but I’m getting so tired of the backup plans of backup plans of backup plans. This issue was kind of the last straw for me with the dialogue between daken and romulus, after the dark wolverine issue with daken and wolverine. Okay so every single person had a backup plan to betray the other one because they knew the other one would have a backup plan to betray them, so they have a backup plan lined up to stop the other one’s backup plan to foil the first backup plan….… Read more »

who here thinks that next issue daken will betray romolus and wolverine will betray daken? i dn’t know about you guys but instead of making romolus look like a manipulator who was trying to get skaar on his side, he looked liked he was scared of him and was avoiding conflict with him..look on the bright side, only 3 more issues to go and we can stop talking about this forever.

Yeah, Romulus looked scared and actually, to be frank I thought the artwork was crap on this issue in general. And yes, I think everyone will betray everyone else’s betrayal of their betrayal and that will all still have been part of the bigger plan… and perhaps daken will make out with another dude for no reason… maybe wolverine? with no explanation again? *sigh*
