It seems like Marvel’s using Uncanny to fill up time between major crossovers. These storylines go on for 5 or 6 issues and there just doesn’t feel like there’s any future payoffs from any of these stories. Usually a writer has a much bigger picture in mind for their run on a book while interspersing it with a story to cover a short stretch. There just doesn’t feel like one in this series.
