To destroy his hands (and claws it seems since he did not pop them) would mean destroying the admantium.

I thought they were saying that the General was Bucky that is why he was primary target 1.

I on the other hand get tired of alternate futures. OML was a waste and this one will have no bearing on the greater MU…the GOOD thing though about this one seems to be that it will have effect on Wolverine. I think this arc closes out or closes some of the first arc of W:WX. The whole Roxxon and the leaked pic of Deathlok with laser claws makes me think that Maverick will be back making noise and the Strikeforce X folks will make a return…I think they will have been converted to these Deathloks. I think its interesting and hopefully ramifications will be felt. The acid from the Deathloks did nothing to the Adamantium, just the flesh so I had no problem with the death scene (apparent).

I think the thing that bugged me most about the issue was the lack of immediate recognition when Bucky was saved by Logan, although I can believe that the heat (no pun intended) of the moment prevented that. I’m sure they’ll catch up soon.

As for the General…anyone have an idea of who it may be? Something was telling me that it was Melita Garner, despite it being a superpowered. But I was just reaching of course…my real thinking is that the General is Maverick but we’ll see what his end game is…
