DiG, that was exactly what I did not like about "Get Mystique." He was sent to "get" her, and after she humiliated him over and over, and tricked him again and again, and he got the **** beat out of him, he still just walked away. He didn't exactly come away looking like the "best at what he does" there.

Yes, a very intriguing series, much better than I expected.

The ending left me feeling a little empty though, especially from Wolverine's side, for we should have seen Psylocke back down or Wolverine kill her. This was a question of honor on his part. But since this was a Psylocke miniseries, she was destined to succeed and everyone else in the series fail.

That is probably my biggest frustration with these hero vs hero confrontations. There is no natural flow to the story, merely a classic superhero battle, with both combatants walking away.

When you have a character like Wolverine, he is not going to back down -- but yet he does, time and time again in these tales, making him a shadow of what he actually is supposed to be.

Take a look at the Garth Ennis Punisher confrontations. Let's be honest. Wolverine would have gutted him in an instant and no one who have shed a tear.

I thought that this was both good and bad. First off, I didn't care for the idea of the fight between Wolverine and Psylocke just to solve the dispute between the two of them. I figured for good friends and teammates that actually conversing about it was the route that should've been taken instead of both of them looking to spill each other's blood. The end of the issue though seemed quite good at the resolving of Psylocke's personal journey. Unfortunately for such a good story of personal growth for the character, it'll probably fall on deaf ears for individuals who write Psylocke in the future. And I'm sure that there will be nothing to come of this between Wolverine and Psylocke from all of this. That being said though, the history used for the entire series was used quite well by YostI thought Tolibao's artwork was absolutely superb.
