It was enough of a what the...? moment that the explosion took me out of the story for a moment. Even a single line about having them for emergencies would have been enough to make it work so it seems kind of lazy.

I don't mind the explosives, since as you said, like an action movie you just forget about holes in the plot, that would only slow down the action. He could, as the other guys comment, bought it or just steel it from anyware. He could build it fast since he has some army knowledge. Anyway, what i agree, and consider important is the devouring scene. I mean, it is just awesome great to open the Hulk from the inside, but how the hell does Wolvie get's in the Hulk stomach. They should omit the scene where the Hulk bites him, and just made the Hulk bigger so he can swallowi completely Wolverine.
It is a great comic mini-series, i enjoyed very much.

I can agree that he had the potential to buy explosives after he got back but considering this was the same night (they were still cleaning up and celebrating) he did not have the time to do it then. Heck afterwards he could have just killed everyone and taken the explosives if there had been enough time for it. But I do not see how there could have been.

And he would not have had the resources prior to that night, or at least he should not have. It's not a big deal just something I noticed. Kind of read like 'Hmm how do I take out a lot of Hulks really quick? Oh a huge explosion. Yeah let's throw that in there, it fits the theme'. But without working out the logic for it.

About the money thing, I was under the impression that Wolverine still had the money he took from Red Skull's men, seeing as he didn't have much incentive to pay the Hulk Gang anymore. In a world where $500 pays the rent for a "long, long time," $1000 (Which is the money Hawkeye agreed to pay Wolverine, so there had to be at least that much in the case) may have bought quite a bit plastic explosive. Of course, I'm no expert on the price of munitions and explosives, so I could be wrong, but that may have been what Millar was thinking.

I agree on the rest, it was a really fun issue, and this story definitely satisfied the fans who wanted to see Wolverine get his full measure of revenge. Since that was the part of the review you focused on, I'll simply say, I agree with your review!
