I'm not so in love with Bendis that I think he is perfect . Neither am I suggesting that no one is allowed to a difference of point of view.

However that aside. I am mainly going to point to Ace's thread and have his own words speak for my own. Please don't assume what I said as a personal attack.

One hopes you are not suggesting that a clearly gifted writer like Brian Bendis is not allowed to be criticized.

We all have writers and books that we like and dislike. In this instance, I found a writer who I very much admire to have overreached on a key plot point.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but I do think I have the right to express that opinion.

In Bendis' defense he was attacked over his Ultimate Spider-man books as well. And they were the best selling Ultimate comic books on the market. I came to the conclusion that there are fans who accept change and fans who will hate a comic no matter how well written it is.

Unless Stan Lee himself pops up and defends the book, I believe every single book that is created from now until the end of time will be picked apart , analyzed, and trashed talked by people with nothing better to do.
