I liked the dynamic between Logan and Maverick but thought the scene on the subway was kinda same old same old. I’m also not sure what I think of the raver glowstick Wolverine claws.. But I’ll def check out the next issue because I have a fair amount of faith in this creative team (I really did like the Get Mystique arc). Hopefully it’ll be better than that Manifest Destiny miniseries.

Or perhaps more accurately, his strive to create new plots that have little to do with pre existing canon.

In the interviews posted on this site, Aaron isn’t afraid to experiment with new genres for Logan. That makes me really happy, because Wolverine is a character that doesn’t need to be restrained by the ground work that has came before. Perhaps we’ll get that breath of fresh air that some of us wanted for a long time.
