Modok walking mothers and thier babies into a lake to drown and the Blob eating people seemed a little too much. It distracted me from the story. I am sure thast the villains would kill and maim people around them, but it just seemed too much. I know its just Millar writing in his extreme over the top style, But it was suppose to be about 1985, which to me was a friendlier time for comics. This was before the Authority and Preacher and htier extremes. Also the artwork got a bit too scratchy for me in parts, seemed rushed.
